Dr. Reza Pirsaheli graduated from Medical School in 1999 with honors and a high GPA. After graduation he finished Internal Medicine Residency at Southern Illinois University. During his Internal Medicine residency he found great interest in Neurology and finished his residency at the University of Florida and University of California, Irvine. After completion of two residencies, he completed two fellowships in Vascular Neurology and Neurocritical care at Stanford University.
After 8 years of comprehensive training he joined the Mercy medical group and worked over 11 years as a Neurointesivist and took care of numerous patients with Strokes, Intracerebral Hemorrhage, Subarachnoid Hemorrhage, Brain infection, Seizure and Traumatic Brain Injury, etc. He was also the Director of Stroke for over 6 years at Mercy Folsom Hospital and Chairman of Neurology at Mercy General Hospital.
He also specialized in comprehensive training at the National Laser Institute for Botox, Fillers, Laser, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and PDO threading.
After several years of training and working in the hospital, he opened his medical center on January 2nd, 2025 to serve the community as a neurologist and primary care physician. Dr. Pirsaheli’s goal and passion is to provide the best quality care to all his patients.
